Requests for use of clean stations and improvement of garbage disposal manners
This notice is intended for all people who may be using the garbage collection point (= Clean Station) managed by the Nakayama Community Association, including not only members of the community association but also those who are not a member of the community association.
Requests Regarding the Use of Clean Stations
- In principle, clean stations are open to anyone. On the other hand, the management of the facility, including the contribution of maintenance costs, is the responsibility of the community association, and there are minimum rules for its use (garbage separation, observance of collection dates, and cleaning on a rotating basis by users, regardless of whether they are members or non-members).
- Reference: About the use of clean stations (Higashimatsuyama City HP)
Please agree to the following before using Clean Station.
- 東松山市の「資源とごみの分別収集計画表」に従い、ゴミを出す(東松山市公式サイト参照)。
- A red sticker will be placed on garbage that is collected on a different day. Everyone may make mistakes on the designated day of the week, but in that case, have the courage to take it back.
- Participate in the cleanup rotation at the clean station and cooperate in the cleanup.
- We have received reports that there are rare people who "do not want to join the rotation list," but as our community association does not agree with the use of such people, we ask that they bring their garbage directly to the city's garbage collection facility.
Request for Improvement of Trash Dumping Manners
- Related to the above request, we have sent out repeated reminders about problems related to littering, including littering, but the situation has not improved.
- When alerted, there are rare cases of malicious behavior, such as going out of one's way to dump trash when no one is around at night.
- Currently, we are at the stage where we are only taking action by clean leaders and well-meaning residents in the neighborhood and issuing reminders through circulars, etc. However, if the situation gets too bad, we may need to take stronger measures, including monitoring of clean stations.
- Please cooperate with us (although those who peruse this circular to this point are not violating any manners in the first place), as a minimal act of "good manners" will make everyone's life more pleasant.
