October board meeting

The following items were discussed by the three directors, district heads, and group leaders

1) Report on the Hirano Area Citizens' Athletic Festival

• Although there were concerns about rain, the event was held without incident.
• No rankings were assigned due to the elimination of overall rankings, but the results were equivalent to second place in previous years.

2) Nakayama Festival

• It will be held on October 15, 2023 (Sun.) 11:00-17:00 at Nakayama Children's Plaza (cancelled in case of rain).
• As described in the "Notice Concerning the 46th Nakayama Festival" circulated in the past.
• We have received offers of sponsorship from neighboring companies. We are considering distributing the sponsorships to local community members, but since the details of the sponsorships have not been finalized at this time, we will announce details on our website, Facebook, and Twitter before the event. Due to the timing of the event, which will not be circulated in time, interested parties are encouraged to obtain information via the Internet. We expect to distribute the items to those who bring in their homeowner's association fee receipts (the method is under consideration and may differ from what is stated).
  Please note that the quantity is not for all households in the community association. Please understand that this is a generous donation.
• In case of rain, the event will be cancelled externally. However, since food and other ingredients cannot be cancelled, we will sell them by some means or other. Please check our website, Facebook, and Twitter.

3) Confirmation of eligibility for Respect for the Elderly

• A dinner style event with invited guests will not be held, but as in past years, congratulatory money will be distributed to those who are eligible (those who are 70, 77, 80, 88, or 90 years of age or older in full age). The group leader should report the eligible persons in the group to the district head.

4) Please contact us if you can participate in the Three Day March Parade.

• Three-Day March Parade: November 5 (Sun.) 13:00~ * Departure from Shinmei Elementary School - Arrival at the central site (Matsuichi Elementary School)

5) Others

• Smartphone workshop : October 25 (Wed.) Registration 13:30 Lecture 14:00-16:00 Plain Activity Center Meeting Room
