November 2022 Board of Directors Meeting Report
November board meeting
The following agenda items were handled by the three officers and each district director.
(1) Upcoming events
- We will continue to monitor the situation with the new coronavirus and decide how to respond.
- November: Nakayama Respect-for-Senior-Citizens Meeting: ........................... ...Dinner will be cancelled and congratulatory money will be distributed.
- December: Year-end cleaning: ........................... ...Implementation
- December: Disaster drill and year-end night vigil .................. cancelled
(2) Nakayama Respect-for-Senior-Citizens Celebration Money Distribution
This year, 102 people were eligible. Congratulations to all of them and thank you for your interest in our program!
As I mentioned earlier, the dinner has been cancelled, but the group leaders will distribute congratulatory money to those who are eligible for the dinner. Those who will be 70 (koki), 77 (kiju), 80 (kasarju), 88 (yonju), and 90 (senju) or older as of 12/31 of this year are eligible (full age, not counted years).
*This is different from the annual unit of the Respect-for-Senior-Citizens Association in Higashimatsuyama City (judged at the end of March of the following year).
(2) We are sending this information based on the information of those aged 60 or older who filled out the self-governing member list at the time of renewal (for those who joined after the renewal, at the time of joining). If you have not filled out the form, we do not know who you are. If you have not received your congratulatory money even though you should be eligible, please contact your group leader.
*This is a respectful aging party of the Nakayama Community Association, so only members of the community are eligible.
The head of the group will deliver the congratulatory money, etc. to the group leader, who will distribute it to the eligible persons in accordance with the list of eligible persons.
(3) Year-end cleaning
We have decided to implement the program.
(1) Equipment needed for the cleanup (gloves, garbage bags, etc.) will be distributed prior to the December board meeting. Group leaders are requested to pick them up between 09:30-10:00 on 12/04 (Sun.) (Attendance at the board meeting is not required).
(2) We would like to ask for your cooperation in putting out garbage to be collected at the collection point during the cleanup. If you put out grass, branches, etc. as they are, they will not be collected. Please cut branches into 60cm lengths and bundle them, and put fallen leaves in bags, as you normally do at the clean stations. We have been handling items that have been put out as they are by the three departments after the cleanup, but it has been a heavy burden. Please review how you dispose of these items once again.
(3) Depending on the situation, the district head or group leader will request assistance at another location. Depending on the district or group, there have been cases in the past where there were too many puddle masses in the downstream area of ditches but not enough manpower, or where there was no manpower and it was too heavy to open the lid of the puddle masses. Therefore, we would like to ask for your cooperation in such cases.
Those who have changed neighborhood associations, etc.
*We will refrain from posting individual names on our website. Please check the circular.
Next Board Meeting
- The next board meeting will be [December 5 (week 1), 10:00-11:00 a.m.] and will be attended by the three directors and district heads only.
