Notice of the 46th Nakayama Festival
This is an announcement regarding the 46th Nakayama Festival for all members of the community. Please be especially aware of the underlined parts in bold.
(1) Date, time, place and content
- October 15, 2023 (Sun.) 11:00-17:00 (Nakayama Children's Park)
- Please see separate flyer and website.
- Unfortunately, the opening performance by the North Junior High School Symphonic Band has been cancelled due to the closure of the school due to the influenza outbreak.
- For safety reasons, the mikoshi experience is open to students in the upper grades of elementary school.Opportunities to touch the mikoshi have been rare in recent years, so we hope you will be excited to participate.
- Around 12:00, Higashimatsuyama Cable TV is scheduled to cover the event.
(2) Advance distribution of tickets for use of food and beverage booths for Nakayama members
- Tickets for 200 yen worth of food and beverage booths (meal vouchers) will be distributed in advance to all Nakayama members who have paid their membership fees through their group leaders.Please note that no refunds will be made in case of non-use.This is only to assist those who come to the festival.
(3) Pre-distribution of fun raffle tickets for Nakayama members
- Raffle tickets will be distributed in advance to all residents' association members who have paid their dues through their group leaders. Additional tickets will be distributed separately to those who volunteer to run the event.
- On the day of the event, a lottery box will be placed at the food and beverage booth ticket booth (right by the entrance on the Jichi Kaikan side of the plaza), so please cast your vote before the lottery begins.
- Please note that if you are not at the venue when the winners are read out at the fun drawing, you will lose your eligibility to win and the drawing will be conducted again.
- Please note that if you have already won a prize in the multiple voting, it will be invalidated even if you win again.
- Winners will be announced by lottery winners by reading out the winners' names. Please note that if the letters cannot be discerned, the prize may be invalidated.
4) Others
- Limitations will be imposed on the quantity of food items sold, such as yakitori, franks, yakisoba, etc.Please refrain from hoarding so that more people will be able to use the product.
- We have received offers of sponsorship from neighboring companies. We are considering distributing these items to members of the local community, but since the details of the sponsorship items have not been finalized at this time, we will announce details on our website, Facebook, and Twitter before the event. Due to the timing of the event, which will not be circulated in time, interested parties are encouraged to obtain information via the Internet. We expect to distribute the items to those who bring in their homeowner's association fee receipts.
Please note that the quantity is not for all households in the community association. Please understand that this is a generous donation. - In case of rain, the event will be cancelled externally. However, since food and other ingredients cannot be cancelled, we will sell them by some means or other. Please check our website, Facebook, and Twitter.
(5) Preparation and clean-up
- Group leaders are requested to gather in front of the Community Center on the following dates (each is expected to take about one hour).
- Saturday, 14th, 9:00 - the day before: Bring in desks and chairs, take down tents, set up equipment for serving food and beverages, etc.
- After the festival (around 5:00 p.m.): Removal of set-up equipment
