May board meeting

(1) Conduct spring cleaning (zero waste)

• Date and Time: Sunday, May 25, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
  • Please see details in a separate circular.
  • The map of the garbage collection point is from the homepage
• The Spring Cleanup (Zero Garbage) is a City project, so please request participation from non-self-governing members.

(2) Consideration of clarifying the benefits of being an autonomous member

• Specific considerations on matters raised at the AGM
  • Consideration of proposal for distribution of PR to non-autonomous members
    • Since similar issues had been raised in the past and specific studies had been conducted, they were shared with the current members.
    • The decision was made not to distribute the newsletter individually to non-self-governing members, but to place a spare copy in front of the entrance of the community center for them to obtain one on their own.
  • Treatment of Non-autonomous Members Regarding Use of the Clean Center
    • After establishing the terms of use at the management entity, the residents' association, a separate questionnaire will be distributed to ascertain the number of users.
• Others
  • Discussion of ideas for stockpiling disaster prevention supplies for residents' association members, timing of completion of repairs to residents' association halls and transferring reserve funds to renovations, etc. → Due to time constraints, discussion to be held in the next meeting.

(3) Other

• Consideration of the timing of the 48th Nakayama Festival
  • As in the previous year, the event will be planned on the basis of holding the event in the fall, avoiding the period of extreme heat.
  • Executive committee members will be recruited at the same time.The first executive committee meeting is scheduled for June 1 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jichi Kaikan.
• Requests for cooperation in other activities
  • Athletic Section: Hirano District Athletic Festival Executive Committee, Three-Day March Pear Peeling Entertainment (11/2 Sunday, 8:00 - tentative)
  • General Affairs Section: Assistance for planting full of flowers (Wednesday, 5/14, 13:30-)
