January 2024 Board of Directors Meeting

January board meeting .

The following items were discussed by the three directors, district heads, and group leaders

(1) Submission of the list of incoming officers .

1. The current leader of the group should inform the district leader of the next leader of the group. District heads are requested to compile and submit a list of district heads, deputy district heads, and group leaders for the next term.
2. Please also determine the role of each group leader (General Affairs, Public Relations, Athletics, and Benefits).
3. Please include your full name, not just your last name, and contact information to be included in the board roster.
4. It will be collected at the next February board meeting.

(2) Preparation for the General Assembly .

• The general meeting is scheduled for Sunday, April 7, 2024. We will discuss in the future whether we will have a written resolution as last year and will inform you in next month's circular.
• The current members will be the proposers of the agenda for the April general meeting, which will be discussed at the March board meeting, so if there are any suggestions that the group leaders would like to include in the agenda, please submit them at the February board meeting through your district leaders.

(3) Closing date for accounting is the end of February

• The accounting of Nakayama Residents' Association is closed at the end of February. The group leader should finish collecting dues by the end of February and submit the dues collection ledger and other documents to the district head (please refer to the "Handling of Accounting Documents" distributed in April). If all dues have already been collected, please submit the original ledger at the February board meeting via the district director.

4) Others

• Infrared-sensitive security lights were installed in preparation for the theft of the outdoor unit of an air-conditioning unit in a local government building.
• Seven Year Old Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 3, 9:00 a.m. at the North District Gymnasium.
• Hirano Cultural Festival will be held on February 3 (Sat.) and 4 (Sun.) at Hirano Civic Activity Center and North District Gymnasium.
