March 2024 Board of Directors Meeting

March board meeting .

The following items were discussed by the three directors, district heads, and group leaders

1) Preparation for the General Assembly .

  • Discussion of the bill
    • The business report for FY2023, the financial report for FY2023, the election of officers for FY2024 (draft), the business plan for FY2024 (draft), and the budget for FY2024 (draft) were explained. After deliberation, the Board of Directors approved the proposals.
  • Distribution of agenda .
    • It will be held at the Community Center. If you are in charge of general affairs, please come to the Community Center at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, 3/17.
    • You will receive a copy of the agenda and a proxy form.
    • Each district head should collect the proxy form via the group leader and submit it to the chairman's house (post-in acceptable) by Sunday, 3/31.
  • General Meeting of Neighborhood Association 4/7 (Sun.) 9:00~ at Neighborhood Hall

(2) To all active members .

  • Thank you for your hard work over the past year, the current board members will be in charge until we distribute the city newsletter at the beginning of April, so please give them a little more time (the new board members will be in charge starting with the April circular).

(3) For those who will be on the board of directors in the new year .

  • Make sure that the current and new officers take over the duties from the incumbent at a face to face meeting or other such occasion.
  • Please make sure that your name and contact information are correct in the "List of Nakayama Residents' Association District Officers for 2022" in the General Meeting Proposal that will be distributed at a later date. Any corrections will be reflected in the list of officers for the new fiscal year, which will be distributed individually in April.

Other: Please beware of burglary .

  • Recently, there was a burglary in our community. We would like to ask you to raise your awareness of crime prevention at home and pay attention to the following points.
    • If you see a suspicious person or a suspicious vehicle, notify the police immediately.
    • Always lock windows and doors when you leave the house and do not pretend to be away by turning on lights when you are not home.
    • When you are not home, take steps to avoid being targeted by burglars, such as removing mail that has accumulated in your mailbox.
