October board meeting

The following agenda items were handled by the three directors, each district director, deputy district director, and group leader.

Report on the Hirano Area Civic Sports Festival

  • The event was cancelled due to deteriorating ground conditions caused by rain.Thank you to the athletic directors who participated in each of the preliminary meetings.

Nakayama Festival

  • Sunday, October 27, 2024, 12:00 - 18:00 It will be held at Nakayama Children's Plaza (light rain).
  • For details, please refer to the "Notice for Local Residents' Association Members Regarding the 47th Nakayama Festival" and the A4 tri-fold pamphlet.
  • In the event of rain, the event will be cancelled externally, but as food and other items cannot be cancelled, we will sell them by some means or other, as we did last year.Please check our website, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • A workshop on Botan Ondo, which is danced at the closing event of the festival, will be held.
    • It will be held on both Fridays, October 18 and 25, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Community Center.Please come and join us.
  • If you have a lintel with the name of Mikoshi no Kai or Nakayama Community Association on it, we would appreciate your cooperation in the Mikoshi carrying experience (from Nakayama Mikoshi no Kai).

Request to "all board members" regarding preparation and clean-up

  • Please cooperate in setting up and taking down the venue.(Each is expected to take 1-2 hours to complete)
    • Saturday, 26th, the day before, from 10:00 a.m.: Bring in desks and chairs, take down tents, set up equipment for serving food and beverages

      ※当日が選挙により撤収できないため。平日ですので、お仕事等で参加できない方は不参加で問題ありませんが、都合のつく方はお願いします。

Request to "Persons in Charge of Benefits" for Non-Holding of Respect-for-Senior-Citizens Meeting

  • In order to level the playing field with other directors, we ask for your cooperation in providing operational support during the hours of the Nakayama Festival on the day of the festival (October 27).
    • Examples of specific requests (see attached list of day-of operation staff)
      • Selling food and beverage booth tickets: Selling food and beverage booth tickets for 100 yen per ticket, money management
      • Reception of guests: Prompts guests to sign their names in the guest name book and directs them to their seats.
      • Guest reception: serving beverages to guests (conversation with guests is handled by the former three officers) and cleaning up.
      • Garbage station: support for garbage collection and sorting
    • *All of these requests are for 3 hours of cooperation, as shifts are required.
    • *This is separate from the set-up and tear-down that all board members are asked to do in common.

Confirmation of eligibility for Respect-for-Senior-Citizens Celebration Fund

  • As a result of the survey, we will not hold a dinner format with invited guests, but will distribute congratulatory money to those who are eligible (70, 77, 80, 88, and 90 years of age or older at full age) as in previous years.
  • It has been quite a few years since the city stopped updating the list from the standpoint of protecting personal information, and the three officials have not been able to get an accurate grasp of the situation.As for the provision of information from City Hall, we checked with the Senior Citizens Division, and their response was that they are still not allowed to provide personal information.Therefore, the group leaders are requested to ascertain who is eligible by the next board meeting (a simple list will be handed out today, so please use it as a basis for checking) and report to the district head.At the next board meeting, the treasurer will give you a congratulatory money bag for the number of people, which you will then distribute.
  • Please use the attached "Respect-for-Senior-Citizens List (for group leaders)" when organizing the list.

  • Outside cats (with collars) have frequently defecated on other people's property and left footprints on their cars.Owners are encouraged to keep their cats inside their homes.We are very inconvenienced.
  • Please be aware in advance that the traffic sign across from Tsubameya is a non-approved sign and the Higashimatsuyama Police Station has informed us that it will be removed shortly.
