Establishment of the 46th Nakayama Festival Executive Committee and Recruitment of Members
As resolved at the general meeting, preparations for the 46th Nakayama Festival will begin on the assumption that it will be held.
In previous years, the committee was composed of the three directors, district heads, and other related organizations. In order to hold this year's Nakayama Festival differently from previous years from the viewpoint of reducing the burden, we are looking for people regardless of age, gender, or position who can participate in the discussions from the planning stage.
Specific plans will be discussed by the members after the Executive Committee is established, but the following is a list of current ideas for reference. If you are interested in joining the Executive Committee, please refer to the following list.
Outline of the 46th Nakayama Festival
The following information is only for reference to get an idea of what to expect when recruiting for the Executive Committee, and is not definitive.
(1) Main Concepts and Planning Background
Let's create a place for exchange and a circle of mutual aid that is in tune with the times, without being bound by precedent.
- Due to the declining birthrate and aging population, our community association has been unable to be as active as in the past for the past several years. With the background of many people "straining" to maintain the activities of the community association, many members were concerned that we would eventually reach our limits.
- This, combined with the refraining from going out and socializing due to the new coronavirus, has put a yellow light on the maintenance of the foundation of mutual aid, which is based on horizontal ties, and is one of the reasons for the existence of neighborhood associations.
- In the same vein, with the new coronavirus countermeasures and financial pressure factors due to the declining birthrate, aging population, and dispersion of urban functions, we cannot expect too much from "public assistance," and we felt that rebuilding the foundation of "mutual assistance" here is important for the future lives of the local government members.
- Therefore, the 46th Nakayama Festival project was launched with the idea of creating a place for exchange in a new form, without being bound by conventional precedents (style).
(2) Outline of the event
- Point
- Creation of a place for exchange and a circle of mutual aid that is not bound by conventional precedents, but is in line with the times.
- Creation of opportunities to play an active role, regardless of age, gender, or affiliation.
- Exploring new ways of organizing community association events in an age of super low birthrate and aging population.
