Regarding the collection of community association fees .

Thank you for your continued support of community association activities.
As we are in the midst of a new fiscal year, we would like to inform you of some points to keep in mind when collecting community association dues for the upcoming year.

Assumption: regarding the amount to be collected as stipulated in the constitution .

  • As stipulated in the association's bylaws, the community association fee is [500 yen per month].

Regarding the method of collection .

  • The standard procedure for handing over the money from the group leader to the district leader to the treasurer is specified in the handout for board members. However, there is no uniform procedure for how each group leader collects the money from each group member, as it corresponds to the individual circumstances of each district and each group. We leave this to the discretion of each district and each group.
  • The Executive Committee is aware that in recent years, lump-sum collection has become the norm in order to reduce the burden of collection work, but we recognize that it is adopted solely at the discretion of each district and each group.
  • On the other hand, there have been problems with members withdrawing due to forced lump-sum collection, and we have informed the board of directors in the past that the principle is monthly collection and that we do not want to force lump-sum collection.

Requests when adopting lump-sum collection .

  • The Executive Committee's position is that lump-sum collection is only acceptable when agreed upon by the district head, group leader, and group members.
  • We respect the circumstances and wishes of each group member and ask that those who wish to collect monthly be required to do so.
  • We strongly urge you not to enforce lump-sum collection against our will.
  • We also respect the individual circumstances of each district and each group in terms of means of receipt, such as collection through individual visits or using the timing of cleanups, etc. You may be flexible as long as it is agreed upon by the district head, group leader, and members.
